Sodium methyl silicate is an organic compound with the formula CH5SiO3Na. It is a colorless liquid with a relative density of 1.23~1.26. It is a new type of rigid building waterproof material with good penetration crystallinity. The silanol group in its molecular structure is dehydrated and crosslinked with the silanol group in the silicate material, so as to achieve the "anti-capillary effect" to form an excellent aquephobic layer, and at the same time has the functions of micro-expansion and increasing compactness. It is used as a waterproofing agent for concrete, limestone, gypsum products, red bricks, sandstone, stucco, plaster, new cellar bricks and tiles. It can also be used as an additive to mortar.

1. Waterproof mortar construction: clean up the base layer sediment, debris, oil, etc.; The gray-sand ratio is controlled at 1:2.5~3 (Portland cement above grade 32.5R, medium sand, and mud content is less than 3%), and the water-cement ratio is ≤0.5. The amount of pure silicone waterproofing agent accounts for 3~5% of the cement dosage, in order to ensure uniform mixing, the silicone waterproofing agent should be mixed with mortar water evenly and then cement and sand should be added. The waterproof layer is constructed in two layers (each layer is 10mm thick). The bottom layer is first plastered with 1mm, and then plastered with waterproof mortar layer, compacted at the initial setting, and rubbed into a hemp surface with a wooden trowel; After applying the second layer of waterproof mortar, it must be compacted with light (if it is necessary to decorate the construction, it must be rubbed into a hemp surface). According to the normal sprinkler curing, the effect of spraying cement curing agent is better.
2. Waterproof concrete construction: the waterproof dose of pure silicone accounts for 1% of the cement dosage, and it is evenly mixed into the prepared concrete, which is the same as the ordinary concrete construction method. In order to ensure uniform mixing, the silicone waterproofing agent should be mixed with the water of the concrete ratio and then cement, sand and stones should be added.
3. Leakage maintenance construction: the smooth surface of the original base layer needs to be chiseled into a hemp surface, and after cleaning the floating ash, make a solid mortar bonding layer, and then plaster the waterproof mortar layer. The leaking part must be plugged and stopped first. The yin and yang corners should be rounded and compacted. The stubble should be sloped (stubble width 100~150mm), and the stubble should be first used as a bonding layer with plain mortar, and then plastered with waterproof mortar layer.
4. Spraying anti-seepage construction: silicone waterproofing agent diluted with 8 times water and sprayed on the surface of absorbent inorganic building materials such as cement surface, brick, tile, gypsum board, ordinary paint wall, etc., for impermeability and moisture-proof treatment, with excellent effect.

2. This agent is a general chemical, construction personnel should be careful not to splash on the face during storage, transportation and use, especially not splashed into the eyes, otherwise immediately rinse with a large amount of water or ask a doctor to deal with it. Wear labor protection gloves, protective glasses, and work clothes during operation to avoid contact with the skin.
3. This agent shall not contact zinc, aluminum, tin and other active metals during transportation and use, and cannot be stored in iron metal containers, so as to avoid chemical reaction causing product deterioration and container corrosion.
